Expectations & Procedures

THE “TYPICAL” DAILY PROCEDURES

(1) Put your phone in the correct phone caddy pocket.

(2) Bring a pen/pencil and get your spiral notebook out of the journal box.

(3) Have a seat and answer the journal question in well-developed complete sentences. Journals will be on the projector screen. A brief class discussion will be held. Journals are checked every 2-3 weeks.

(4) A lesson is taught. The majority of the class time is spent on the application of the lesson … which is student centered learning that involves YOU. Be prepared for lots of group activities and collaboration. This is not a class where you are glued to your seat the entire time. Participate!


Grading policy

Major Grades 60%

  • Major Grades will include, but are not limited to, tests, presentations, and speeches.
  • Each six weeks you will have at least two major grades.

Minor Grades 40%

  • Minor Grades will include quizzes, journals, and any daily work.
