About Me:

I am so excited to be serving the Lorena community this school year as your Elementary school counselor. I have been in education for twelve years and served in many different educational aspects. Through a variety of counseling services, I am able to guide my students through a different way of looking at situations, past and present. By teaching and guiding our students through a different way of thinking then we are setting them up to look at situations in their future in a different light. We are preparing them for the future. I believe there is good in all of our students, we must guide them in their self-growth so that they can reach their highest potential.

The purpose of school counseling is to assist the student with developmental problems and/or situational problems that with limited session can help the student" get back on the right track". As a school counselor, I am unable to provide involved counseling sessions or therapy, if this is needed then your student may be referred to an outside agency per the parent's permission.
