We have a brilliant selection of brand new gaming books for everyone to enjoy! 

Our student voice survey showed that lots of you wanted to see more books in the library linked to gaming and as part of the National Year of Reading Campaign 'If you're into it, read into it' we were happy to support!

Everyday Sexism by Laura Bates is a detailed analysis of modern-day misogyny which highlights the issues often faced by women every day. The book led to an international Everyday Sexism Project founded by the author.

The Collector by John Fowles is a sinister classic, where the protagonist Fred plots and then kidnaps MIranda, the object of his obsessive affection. There are parallels in the themes with modern day incel culture.

Adolescence by Jack Thorne and Stephen Graham features the scripts of the highly influential TV programme that shone a disturbing lighr on incel culture in UK secondary schools.

We Had to Remove This Post by Hanna Bervoets is a distrurbing, psychological short novel focusing on a group of content moderators whose job is to review online hate. Their exposure to this content has a severe impact on their personal lives.
