Miss O'Shaughnessy Report
What a great way to start the weekend! On Saturday 9/3/19 we had the pleasure of taking a group of our young men to Twickenham. They had an amazing opportunity to play on the pitch and then enjoy the England v Italy game. For many of them it was their first experience of a live game, never mind playing on the pitch. Some of them now have the enviable honour of being able to say they have scored a try at Twickenham.
Keep it easy and flexible.
Colour is key.

Literacy Highlights of the Week
Report by Miss Kang
An amazing experience for the boys that went to Thimblemill library for afternoon tea with published author Joanne Toye.
''It was an absolute delight to meet you and your students yesterday. I was so impressed by the seriousness with which they took the whole thing, their politeness, attitude, and their fascinating and perceptive questions. Really kept me on my toes!''
Fantastic effort for all of the boys who achieved an award today. Hard work and resilience is the key to success.
Lordswood Boys' School launch their new rugby shirt. Mr Clifford took a group of boys to Doncaster ,they designed the new shirt with Canterbury and this is the finished product. Great work for all the boys who helped with the design process.

Miss Kang Library Trip
The library trip was interesting both on Thursday with Year 8 and Friday with Year 10 . A lot of boys appreciated why literacy is at the centre of everything we do and in particular it was a pleasure to see students researching and reserving books about what they wants to do in the future.
Year 11 Basketball Result
Mr Arshad Match Report
Another fine performance, and a step closer to confirming our place in the city finals.Monday 4/2/19 Year 11 basketball team played a Jewellery Quarter Academy school, who had an England schoolboy player.
I am pleased to say we won 38-21. I must highlight that our team are playing some of the best basketball I have witnessed at school boy level. Such an achievement, and a great credit to the school.
Lordswood Boys' at Thimblemill library ,they had so many questions for the librarian and were overjoyed to hear that this could be something that we make a regular thing in the future.
