'Next Steps' Event - 14th November 2019
Lots of our students from years 9-11 attended our 'Next Steps' event on 14th November to find out about their options after LBS. We had delegates from colleges; sixth forms; apprenticeship providers; the police, army, RAF and fire service; local engineering, printing, electrical and manufacturing companies...and more! It was a great success. Thank you to all the delegates who braved the torrential rain and horrible temperatures to be with us!
'Bin It' Roadshow - 12th November 2019
Our year 7s and 8s took part in a 'Bin It' Roadshow today where they learnt all about the environment and how important it is to look after it. They also had a lot of fun it would seem!

This is confirmation of Lordswood Boys' School's HUGE success in the 2019 GCSE examinations. Our staff were rapt and enthralled when they found out the school hadn't got +0.36 like we originally thought but a jaw-droppingly fantastic +0.42. What an achievement!

In recognition of Black History Month, some of our brilliant students have led assemblies about key historical figures and stories and information about their home countries...even some of our staff joined in!
Show Racism the Red Card! October 2019
The LBS staff got colourful in recognition of 'Show Racism the Red Card'. We enjoy being part of a diverse school, local and national society and hope that, one day, racism is stamped out for good.
BBC World Music Day - 26th September 2019
In celebration of BBC World Music Day, we invited Challan Carmichael in to share music from his new album and stories about his journey to success and achieving his dreams. Thank you, Challan!
Music Performance - 6th September 2019
We started the year with a bang (of the drums) with an inspiring and interactive music assembly led by Ms Lowndes-Ford with performances from Birmingham Music Services. The boys (and staff) thoroughly enjoyed it!
