Thank you for your interest in joining the Student Council! Each year, the NJASC (New Jersey Association of Student Councils) hosts a special State Charity that allows schools all over New Jersey to raise thousands of dollars for a special cause.

Last year, all of the Student Councils across the state raised a grand total of $85,000 to support the 2018/2019 State Charity: One Simple Wish

This year, the State Charity is the Emmanuel Cancer Foundation.

"Since 1983, the Emmanuel Cancer Foundation (ECF) has been committed to being a beacon of light for New Jersey families facing pediatric cancer. Inspired by their son Emmanuel Vizzoni, who passed away from Burkett's Lymphoma at the age of seven in 1981, Joseph and Susan Vizzoni established the ECF in memory of their son and to provide assistance, offer support and guidance to families struggling to deal with their child's diagnosis. Joseph and Susan felt that it was important to help ALL members of the family, not just the child with cancer - and that remains true today."

By joining the Student Council, you are taking a step towards making a difference within the school, the community and beyond. As a team, we will be hosting events and fundraisers to join the state of New Jersey in supporting this foundation.
