Welcome to Mrs. Carlin's Second Grade website!   I try to provide a very structured classroom in which my students know that I believe in them and I motivate them to reach high levels.  I encourage my students to have a Growth Mindset and to believe that the brain is like a muscle and the more we work it, the stronger it will get.  If something is difficult, our brain is getting smarter by working through it and not giving up.  Perseverance is Praised in my classroom!!  

My class motto is:  "I try, I practice, I grow!"  I look forward to growing together!!!  My students know that I believe in them!!!!
