AIS Math 8

In this course, we will work on building your foundational skills in order for you to be successful in math both this year as well as for future success in high school. Some topics learned throughout 8^th grade this year will include: the number system, scientific notation, exponent rules, proportional relationships, solving and graphing linear equations, solving systems of linear equations, functions, transformations, angles of triangles, angles formed by parallel lines cut by a transversal, similarity, Pythagorean theorem, volume and surface area of three-dimensional figures, and statistical data.
