Prerequisite: Minimum B (83) in French II Honors, current teacher recommendation or Department Chair approval

Academic Expectations: Speak clearly, write clearly.

The methodology of the previous two years continues as more advanced materials are introduced. Greater language sophistication is employed as the four language skill areas, listening, speaking, reading and writing, are expanded. The intensity of the course is underscored by the nearly total use of French in the classroom. The dialogues and readings become gradually more sophisticated with each unit. The curriculum includes French films and selected readings. Students are expected to work at an accelerated pace as they complete daily aural/oral and written assignments.
