Welcome Long Branch Family to my webpage.  I am excited for the start of another school year.  My name is Hema Solanki and I've been a counselor in the Long Branch school district for 15 years!  This will be my eleventh year at the high school.  At times navigating the demands of school can be overwhelming for both students and parents.  Be reassured that I am here to help in anyway possible.

I hold a BA in Psychology and Ed. M in Counseling Psychology from Rutgers University and Certification in  school counseling from Montclair State University.  In addition, I am a National Board Certified Counselor and a Licenced  Professional Counselor.  I would say the most I've learned was working in Long Branch Public Schools for my entire Educational Career.  Long Branch is a unique school district where Children Matter Most.
