The Green Wave Places Captures Division Title; First Since 2020!

It was an exciting season for the Long Branch Middle School wrestling team.  Throughout the season, our perseverance, dedication, and relentless pursuit of excellence helped us finish with a final record of 11 wins and three losses.  We emerged victorious not only on the mat but also in the hearts of our supporters. Capturing the division title was a crowning achievement, a culmination of countless hours of grueling training, unwavering commitment, and a spirit of camaraderie that defined our team. Our achievements extend far beyond the win-loss column. Our wrestlers exemplified dedication both on and off the mat, balancing rigorous training schedules with academic pursuits. Their ability to excel academically while competing at the highest level speaks volumes about their character, discipline, and time management skills, which is always challenging at the middle school level. Our team embraced the grind, drawing strength from each other and pushing through adversity with grit and determination.

In the division tournament, we faced formidable opponents and battled valiantly until the final whistle. Despite falling short of the championship, our third-place finish was a testament to our resilience, skill, and fighting spirit. Now that season has ended,  we reflect not only on our victories but also on the bonds forged, the lessons learned, and the memories created. Our success is a testament to the collective efforts of coaches, athletes, and supporters who poured their hearts and souls into this season.
