Welcome to the Logan Magnolia Community School District Counseling web page. My name is Jacob Hedger. I have been in education since 1999 and am in my seventh year as the Professional School Counselor at Logan Magnolia Community Jr. Sr. High Schools. I am a Logan Magnolia alum (1994) and graduated from Buena Vista University in 1999. I recently completed my Master's Degree in professional school counseling at Creighton University (2015). My wife and I live on a small acreage just outside of Logan and have two children. We have two children; Alivia (18) and Josef (16). Alivia is a freshman at UNO and Josef is a junior at LoMa.

My goal as the 7-12 school counselor is aide the efforts of the school district in helping our youth to become young men and women that are positive, contributing members of society. The counseling department uses a holistic approach by trying to meet the physical, educational, psycho-social, and personal-social needs of all students.
