Priority Enrollment (Current students only): February 1st - February 28th

Priority Enrollment Policies 2023-24

1. February 1st- Priority enrollment will begin for returning students. As typical, students will be able to take advantage of a lower enrollment rate if they enroll during the month of February. We are adding the need to also choose classes in February. There will be a priority enrollment statement that reads something like this:

By choosing to take advantage of the early enrollment discount, you are agreeing to select courses before March 1st. If you have not selected courses by that time, courses will be automatically assigned based on the student’s grade and relevant academic plans. All add/drop fees will apply should you determine course changes are needed after that time.

* Add/Drop fee returning to the rate of $60.

2. During priority registration, families will be allowed to defer the enrollment fee to April 15th as this is not a tuition payment month. Should they wish to do so, they will need to request the deferment and sign an agreement stating that they understand that regardless of any changes that may occur in their intent to enroll between March 1st and April 15th, they will still owe the enrollment fee on April 15th. If you would like to request to have your enrollment fee deferred until April, please fill out this form. Please note that we need to receive the form at least three days prior to you completing your enrollment form. So, if you intend to enroll on February 1st, you will want to complete this form today.

3. On April 15th, we will automatically withdraw any students who have not re-enrolled. They will then have to pay $100 to be re-enrolled in addition to the $400 enrollment fee.

4. We will not save space in classes for students who have enrolled but have not chosen courses.

Fee Schedule

Enrollment Fee:

$300 per student if enrolled before March 1st

$400 per student if enrolled April 14th

$500 per student to enroll April 15th or later and no guarantee of placement

Technology Fee:

$200 annually per student

FACTS Fee (Begins at $20/year per family)

Schedule Change Fee: $60

The Process

  • On Monday, January 30th LP families will receive an email from Registrar Addie Delahoussaye. This will give directions on how to access the re-enrollment area on FACTS (Re-enrollment will not show up until February 1st).

  • On February 1st at 9:00 a.m. re-enrollment will open. Instructions will walk families through the process of updating pertinent information, parent signatures on vital documents, and setting up or updating a payment plan in the FACTS system.

  • After submitting your re-enrollment, an email will be sent with a link to request classes for the 2023-24 school year. You can view all course listings and tuition pricing in the links below. Please reference the Course Descriptions for prerequisites and details.

Four Steps To A Complete Enrollment

  1. Complete the enrollment packet.

  2. Choose a payment plan.

  3. Pay the enrollment fee or apply to defer.

  4. Choose classes.

All four steps must be complete to fullfill enrollment by priority dates.

New Course Offerings

Fundamentals of Rhythm and Percussion:

This will not just be a “drum class” but rather a combination of learning notes and rhythms as well as playing them. In the future (currently infrastructure does not allow for this) there could be the opportunity to expand the scope and add more instruments to learn (Xylophone, Marimba, Timpani etc.) Each day students will bring practice materials (Music, sticks, drum pad, mallets and any additional materials required) to class and will be both learning fundamentals of how to read and understand a music score and also how to play the notes and rhythms as well. As the course progresses the exercises will get more difficult and students will work on different aspects of percussion (drum rolls, flams, accents, crescendo and decrescendos). Once the students have a firm grasp of both hand technique and musical literacy, they will begin working on learning different pieces of music related to percussion and eventually will be evaluated on the quality that they play those pieces.

Drill Team:

Open to 9th through 12th grade female students. Students will practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Sugar Creek Baptist Gym. This is a year-round activity and other obligations include, but are not limited to, all varsity football games, summer camp and practice, Back to School Blast, and pep rallies. Try-out clinics are in March. After try-outs, if you are selected to the squad, a non-refundable deposit of $250.00 is required in April. *Must be submitted on your course request in order to try out for the team.

For questions regarding enrollment or course requests which are not answered by the FAQ link above, please contact Registrar Addie Delahoussaye at addie.delahoussaye@logosprep.org.
