School Handbook
Dear Woodruff Families,
Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year!
We are excited to partner with you as we begin another year of learning, growth, and opportunity at Woodruff Elementary. Our mission is to ensure high levels of academic achievement by cultivating resilience and community, leading to a confident future for all students. We look forward to working together to help every child succeed.
This handbook is designed to provide families with important information about our school’s procedures, expectations, programs, and opportunities. Inside, you will find guidance on everything from arrival and dismissal procedures to attendance, behavior expectations, school events, academic supports, and extracurricular activities. We encourage you to review this handbook carefully and refer to it throughout the year as questions arise.
At Woodruff Elementary, we believe that student success is built through a strong partnership between school and home. Our staff is committed to providing a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where all students can thrive. We ask families to join us in encouraging positive work habits, consistent attendance, personal responsibility, and a commitment to learning. Together, we can help students develop the skills and confidence they need to reach their full potential.
Thank you for entrusting us with your child’s education. We are honored to be a part of their journey and look forward to a successful school year. If you have questions or need assistance, please do not hesitate to contact the school office at 435-755-2350.
Sincerely,
Matt Bennett
