Meet the LMS Counseling Staff:

-Ms. Tejeda

My name is Abby Tejeda and this is my first year at Lodi Middle School! I work to support all students in grades 6-8th with academic, social-emotional and career development needs. My role includes working with students and their schedules, 504 Plans/ coordination, liaison for our students experiencing homelessness, collaborating with teachers, individual and small group problem solving/counseling, conflict resolution, goal setting, academic planning, Xello/career awareness, attending professional development opportunities, school wide social emotional programming, and more. I have a Masters degree in Social Work (1994) and a Masters degree in Educational Administration (2000).

*During this period of distance/online learning, I want to continue to provide support and information for our students and families!

"Be The Change" Week was March 9-13, 2020

Thanks to all students, families, teachers, and staff! This week was dedicated to having thoughtful discussions surrounding the topics of Growth Mindset, Healthy Friendships, Being an Ally, Diversity and Inclusion, and Being Generous through your Actions!

Fall of 2019

6th Grade Film Festival....Short Films about Kindness, Standing up for Others, Being Inclusive and Awareness/understanding that we all have different abilities! Shout out to the 6th grade Team and all students for participating!


7th Grade Future Quest

Students in 7th grade spent the day at Alliant Energy Center in Madison exploring how their current interests can relate to future education and career opportunities! Thanks to all the 7th grade Team of teachers and chaperones!
