SENIORS - Class of 2018

If you have not ordered your CAP & GOWN, you still can!!!

Order through www.gradtogo.com. LOOK at the left hand navigation bar, CLICK on HERFF JONES, CHOOSE LOCKHART HIGH SCHOOL.

DEADLINE TO ORDER IS APRIL 1, 2018

FAFSA opened on October 1st. Please see the College and Career Center Website for the link to fill our FAFSA. G-Force will be here from TX State to help with filling out FAFSA. Please see Ms. Suarez in the Career Center for more information.

Apply Texas is also open and you need to get your applications filled out NOW!

Please go to the Counseling Center Resources or the Career Center website to sign up.

Transcripts: You need to fill out the transcript form two weeks before it is needed. It cost $1 for every transcript you need sent. Turn into Mrs. Morales in the Counseling Center.

College Acceptance/Military Enlistment: Please let either Ms. Barnett or Ms. Suarez know if you have been accepted to a college/university or enlisted in the military. There is also a Google Form you can fill out on the College & Career Website.

REGISTRATION FOR 2018 -2019 SCHOOL YEAR

Online registration is open and available to students on Skyward until MARCH 23rd. Parents if you do not have a SKYWARD FAMILY ACCESS login/password, please come by the counseling center with your photo I.D. so that account can be created.

LHS COURSE CATALOG

When registering for classes, you may look at the LHS Course Catalog online. Go to the Lockhart High School website, go to Academics, then the 2018 - 2019 catalog where you can see the course descriptions.

INTERESTED IN ACC CLASSES??

You must be registered for these classes by March 9th.


JUNIORS:

It is time to start thinking about college. Sign up for the SAT/ACT today. SAT/ACT NEXT TEST DATES:

Please go to the Career Center website to sign up.

SOPHOMORES:

It’s important to go to class on time, work hard, challenge yourself and work hard. Get involved by playing a sport, joining a club, participating in extra-curricular activities, or volunteering in the community.

FRESHMEN:

It’s important to go to class on time, work hard, challenge yourself and work hard. Get involved by playing a sport, joining a club, participating in extra-curricular activities, or volunteering in the community.

ALL STUDENTS:

90% attendance is MANDATORY for EVERY CLASS PERIOD! If you miss more than 9 days per semester, you will need to make up 45 minutes per class period. Credits will be lost if you exceed 9 absences and do not make up the time.

TWILIGHT SCHOOL:

Monday and Wednesday from 4:30 to 6:30.

Students may earn attendance hours and/or credit recovery during these times.

SATURDAY SCHOOL:

Every Saturday from 9am to noon. Students may earn attendance hours and/or credit recovery during these times.
