'Highlight Image' Question Type (Option 1)

Take a screenshot of the rubric used for the assignment, and save it.
Create a new Assessment or use this one.
Add a 'Highlight Image' question type.
Upload the screenshot from Step 1 into the question.
In the instructions, instruct students to read the feedback they received on their assignment, and then "grade" themselves by marking up the rubric.
You can also add a Short Answer question instructing students to respond in writing to the feedback they received.

Add a 'Chart' question type.
Upload the screenshot from Step 1 into the question. Add the X and Y axis labels for the Chart.
In the instructions, instruct students to read the feedback they received on their assignment, and then "grade" themselves by sliding the bars in the chart up.
You can also add a Short Answer question instructing students to respond in writing to the feedback they received.

Create a follow-up assignment in Schoology.
Ask students to review your feedback on a previous assignment and explain what it means.
Give students a chance to improve upon their work using feedback, and earn points back to their grade.
This allows you to differentiate and personalize learning by choosing different areas to target for improvement for each student and allows them choice in which ones to improve.

Click on the image to the left to make a copy of the template, and edit it in a way that works for your assignment.

This technique requires some upfront work, but once set up, it provides a way for each student to reflect privately with the teacher in one place all year long.
Set up a Folder in your Course titled 'Your Journal' or something similar
Create a Discussion in Resources or your Sandbox, or use this one.
Copy the Discussion into the Journal Folder as many times as the number of students you have.
Rename each Discussion with your student's names (example: Journal: Ruby).
Individually assign each Discussion to the appropriate student.
Throughout the school year, when you want students to reflect on feedback, instruct them to go to their Discussion Journal to reflect. This also allows them to look back at previous posts and see patterns in their feedback (i.e they may consistently receive feedback about adding more detail to their writing)
To read the reflections, and respond (if you'd like), open the Journal folder, and use the Next button to move from Discussion to Discussion.

Create a quiz in Schoology.
Use the rich text editor to leave customized feedback, including text and/or media.
You must enable "View Submissions" for students to see feedback.
You can customize whether or not to let students see the correct answer.
