Hello, my name is Jennifer Mendez. I am the School Counselor at Dana Elementary School. I have been working in Lucia Mar for 26 years. I have enjoyed helping students within our district access their strengths and help them reach their full potential.
The purpose and priority of school-based counseling services is to help students deal with challenges that interfere with their success as students in the school environment. However, my role also includes supporting the students' families and teachers in any way that optimizes the student's experience in the school setting.
