About Me

I started teaching at Los Molinos in fall 2014. Before teaching at Los Molinos High School I went to Chico State where I earned my Bachelors Degree in Agriculture Education. From 2009-2011 I attended Modesto Junior College to earn my three Associates in Science Degrees; Animal Science, Agriculture Mechanics, and Agricultural Science. While at Modesto Junior College I was a swine herdsman where I further expanded my knowledge of the swine industry. While teaching my first three years 2015-2017 I was also taking courses through California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo towards my Masters. In December of 2017 I graduated from Cal Poly SLO with my Masters in Education with an emphasis in Agriculture Education. I have enjoyed the journey that has lead me to teaching at Los Molinos High School and I look forward to seeing the potential in this program and where the students can go with this program.

  • FFA: I am currently an FFA Advisor at Los Molinos High School where I advise Beef, Sheep, Goats, & Chickens. I advise 3 CDE Teams including Farm Power, Livestock Judging, and Vet Tech.
    • During high school in FFA I had a swine breeding project where I had multiple sows and boars which I used to breed project pigs for fair for the kids of the 4-H group and if I had enough other kids in the community. I then expanded my SAE (supervised agriculture experience program) to include breeding cattle, where I raised a steer from my own cows for fair.
  • Current Job: Teach at Los Molinos High School as the Ag Computers and Design, Introduction to Agriculture Mechanics, Intermediate Agriculture Mechanics, Advanced Agriculture Mechanics, Animal Science, and Ag Government/Economics Teacher
