Mt. Rushmore

Mt. Rushmore is a mountain in South Dakota. It is famous because it has four faces carved on its side. The faces are of four United States presidents: George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, and Theodore Roosevelt. It took over 400 people 14 years to carve the faces. Visitors to Mt. Rushmore can look at the sculptures and go to a museum to learn more about the history of it.
