Grand Canyon

The Grand Canyon is in Arizona in the United States. It was formed by the Colorado River. Over many, many years, the Colorado River wore away part of the rock, and this made the Grand Canyon. Some of the rocks look like castles. Most of the rock is red, but in some places it is violet, green, gray, or pink. Many people come to visit the enormous and beautiful Grand Canyon every year.
