Requesting an Unofficial Transcript

During the school year:

1. Visit the LHS School Counseling office.

2. Inform Mrs. Tamboia, the LHS School Counseling Administrative Assistant, that you are requesting an unofficial copy of your transcript.

3. If students make a request to the school counseling office to pick up a copy of their unofficial transcript, it will typically be ready for pick up by the end of the day.

**Please note: in the summer, these procedures may vary. Please contact the LHS main office during summer hours if you need an unofficial transcript.

During the Summer 2026:

1. Students or parents can call the LHS main office (973-535-8000 ext. 8102) to request an unofficial transcript and confirm when they can pick up from the LHS main office. 

2. Complete this online request form.

3. Please note: Processing time may take up to 24-48 hours.

• If you need a school record with your/your child's name, DOB and address, please know that the LHS report card contains these details and is an official school record that you can obtain from your Genesis Student and Parent Portals and may suffice.

• If you are requesting a transcript to work on post-secondary planning or college applications, please know that in your Genesis Portal, you can access your list of all of your courses taken throughout your years at LHS, as well as your cumulative GPAs. This is the same information that is on your LHS transcript.
