Summer Semester Grading Scheme

1. Online Campuses: Tyre and Nabatiyeh

Until further notice, courses offered online at the Tyre and Nabatiyeh campuses will follow the grading distribution below:

Midterm Exam: 50%, online

Final Exam: 50%, on campus

For laboratory courses, dedicated lab visits will be scheduled before the final examination period to allow students to complete the required laboratory work and enable faculty members to assign the corresponding lab grades. These visits will follow the same arrangement adopted for final examinations: Tyre students will attend at Saida Campus, and Nabatiyeh students will attend at Beirut Campus.

2. On-Campus Instruction: All Other Campuses

For campuses where teaching is conducted on campus, the grading distribution will be as follows:

Attendance: 10%, based on the attendance formula specified in the Faculty Handbook

Quiz: 10%, one quiz only, to be administered before the midterm as a preparatory assessment

Midterm Exam: 35%

Final Exam: 45%
