Play in a Day Festival, May '23
At 2 pm, two duos randomly drew a genre, a setting, a style, and names of actors. Then, they started writing. At 4 pm, the actors arrived and were sorted into their casts. The writers became directors, and the two plays began rehearsals. At 8 pm, the plays premiered to an excited audience, who roared with laughter from start to finish. Afterwards, judged presented the following awards, where The Medieval Throuple took the inaugural PIAD Golden Brick for Best Overall Performance.
