Play in a Day Festival, Nov '23
At 1 pm, two duos randomly drew a genre, a setting, a style, and names of actors. Then, they started writing. At 3 pm, the actors arrived and were sorted into their casts. The writers became directors, and the two plays began rehearsals. At 7 pm, the plays premiered to an excited audience, who roared with laughter from start to finish. The group that wrote, directed and performed Hallmark Hillbillies became the third team to earn the right to carve their names into the PIAD Golden Brick by winning the award for Best Overall Performance.November 2023
