Unlike prior years, this is a one step process involving three parts: 1) The questionnaire, 2) The Engagement of Jeffrey W Little for the preparation of your tax return, and 3) Document upload section. The count down clock previously here was a count down to my semi-retirement date of Jan 1st 2025. I have heard from many clients concerned about my health. I can assure you that I am fine and I really appreciated the concern. I am merely cutting down from 60-80 hours weeks to two days which will still encompass 20-24 hours a week. For a tax accountant this as a drastic cut back, but tax accountants have always understood their careers required excessive hours. It really is a matter of perspective. The office will still provide services as always, it will include less of my direct involvement. My focus will shift to making sure that my staff can continue successful careers while I step back.
