Unity

Come as you are. Dress is casual. The door is open. Christ is the center. Mission is practicing the way of Christ in the world.

LititzMC is located in the town of Lititz situated in northern Lancaster County Pennsylvania. Lancaster County is known for the Amish and Mennonite plain communities, but Lititz was founded by the Moravians who have an active congregation and girls school in the town. Named the coolest small town in America in 2013, Lititz is known for Wilbur buds and Sturgis Pretzels.

LititzMC was founded in 1903 to serve Mennonite who were living in the town. Over the years the congregation has changed and evolved to become a community actively involved with the local neighborhood. Through Peter's Porch the local community has access to a food pantry, meal and clothing closet. The church has sponsored a refugee family from Uganda in 2017 and continues to find ways to be the love of Christ to those in need.

Worship at LititzMC is a mix of hymns and praise music. Most Sundays the singing is accompanied by a small team playing various stringed instruments, including violins, ukulele, piano, etc. Dress is casual or whatever you feel comfortable wearing. The doors of the church are open to anyone to join us for worship.

The congregation strives to be a Missional community actively living the way of Christ in daily life and the surrounding world. From the environment to the neighborhood, the congregation actively practices the Missional work of Christ's healing and reconciliation. The congregation is rooted in the Anabaptist theology of the 16th century and actively lives a peace and justice witness in it's mission and faith.
