Literacy Matters Abbotsford
Literacy Matters Abbotsford is Abbotsford’s community literacy network. This is a membership of many organizations and programs including the Fraser Valley Regional Library, Abbotsford Community Services, University of the Fraser Valley, and Abbotsford School District to name a few. Literacy Matters Abbotsford is funded by Decoda, through the Ministry of Education (see Decoda for more information). The goal of Literacy Matters Abbotsford is to connect literacy services to individuals; to connect services to each other; and to address the literacy gaps in Abbotsford.

Aboriginal Day in Abbotsford, June 21, 2017: Join us at Thunderbird Memorial Square - in front of Clearbrook Library - for the 2nd Annual Aboriginal Day in Abbotsford. This event will run from 4:00 - 7:00 pm. Everyone is welcome to this free celebration of our Aboriginal heritage. More information to follow soon.
3rd Annual Trivia Challenge, September 27, 2017: Help celebrate Literacy Month - bring your team of "Trivia Experts" to join the fun! The challenge will be held at the Phoenix Lounge, 6:30 - 9:00 pm. More information to follow.
