College Houses

St Joseph | is the patron saint of the Sister St Joseph's. The sisters founded Catholic education here in Port Macquarie. 

St Paul | was the patron of St Paul’s High School, which was our Year 7 to 10 campus before we merged with the senior school to become MacKillop College. 

St Agnes | is the patron saint of our Parish. Connection to parish is an important part of our MacKillop College identity.

Our Mascots were selected by our 2024 SRC from three of our seven Biripi totems with endorsement provided by our Local Aboriginal Land Council. 

In selecting these the SRC wanted to have a mascot that represented land, water and sky. 

In Term four, the SRC ran a house crest design competition open to students and staff. The entries were fantastic, so much so that the judging panel couldn’t choose just one! Inspiration and elements from each of the entries were combined to create the three crests you see below, a true representation of collaboration within our MacKillop community.
