I was raised on a small island in North East Florida. I grew up with four sisters and one brother. I graduated from Fernandina Beach High School. I received my Bachelor of Science in Education from Texas A&M University. I earned a Master’s Degree in curriculum development and design and Triple Literacy from the University of Texas. I have five children, two boys and three girls. I have many grandchildren. When I am not teaching, I enjoy traveling and exploring new places. I like to be outside as much as possible. I believe that exercise is an important element for staying healthy. Life is all about choices and I choose to be happy!
