Hello, my name is April Owens and I will be teaching 1st grade here at J.L. Everhart.  This will be my first year teaching here at Everhart, and I know that I am going to love it.  This will be my 5th year teaching, I have taught kindergarten and 2nd grades previously. 

I am married to a wonderful husband named Martin and together we have 8 children and 15 grandkids.  I love to try new recipes and to read. I have been all over the world and never left my living room all by reading books.  

I look forward to having your student in my class this year and I know we will have a great time learning together.
