Chorus Program

PWS Chorus Handbook 2017 - 18 .doc

Last year we went on our trip to Washington D. C. and the students had an incredible time. This year we will be going to Canobie Lake Park to compete. Our chorus consists of 6th, 7th and 8th grade students. The students work very hard to accomplish the goal of performing in each concert. It take much dedication to be a successful chorus student.

This year we will be doing a wide variety of pieces including songs that are in Latin and German. We have some bluegrass style songs, Disney, pop and even a piece built on solfege.

Practices are after school from 2 - 3 p.m. and we only practice twice a week. I strive to teach students how to sing properly so that as they grow into there voices they know what to expect later on.

The winter concert is held in the PWS gymnasium and the district nights are held in the LHS gymnasium. Admission is $2.00 per person or $5.00 per family. We are always in need of parent volunteers to assist with the set up and break down of concerts. Thank you for supports your child's music education.
