Lisa Sowards - Family Life Coach and Educator

I recently graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Marriage and Family Studies from Brigham Young University- Idaho.  I went back to college at age 51 and completed a life-long goal to finish a degree that I started several years ago.  I have worked in several professional settings and realized in my empty nest part of life that I wanted to do something very different. I started a new career in the coaching industry - though I have been coaching for many years of my life.

I have been married to my husband, Steve for 34 years.  We have four adult children, three are married, and two very adorable granddaughters.

Family life is very important to me. I know that there are individuals, parents and married couples who feel the same way.  It is my belief that all people have the ability to transform their current life lens through coaching to create their future with purpose, intention, and hope for the life they desire. I am passionate about your potential and know that you have it within you to create your own vision and purpose through goal processes.  You are never too young or too old to find that possibility - it is inside of each one of us.

Why do I love to coach?

Transformation- this occurs as you explore your own desires and motivations toward change.  It is a thorough or dramatic change in form or appearance - it is renewing, revamping, remaking - each of us can transform and become someone renewed.

Guided process for changes - this is most effective when it is connective. We change by reaching out to others and declaring our changes - its no longer a wish, it is now a process.

Growing our mindset toward positivity is the development of tenacity, grit and can transform our old patterns to new and productive ways.

No matter your age, you can grow and change!

Mindset change can involve thought processes, mindfulness, and goal processes that foster outcomes that bridge the gaps that may hold you back from achieving the things you desire. We will identify together what those gaps are and find ways to change your brain process toward them.

Discovery is my favorite part - watching a client find out what is inside of them is beautiful! When they learn that the answers to the things they are struggling with - they are strengthened by developing new behaviors, thought processes and connections. With this new process, they realize what their capability is and can see the clear vision guiding them to make needed changes.

Coaching is a sacred helping space - I hold my client's innermost desires in confidence. It is a partnership - where I ask questions and my client explores their own habits, behavioral patterns and emotional changes. This space is yours and I am invited in to serve as a helper in our experience together.

I love coaching because I love people! Learning the methods and connections of transformative change gives me the desire to impart the positivity of growth and development to all that need it - that is all of us in this world for sure!
