14th Annual Language and Cultural Festival
Saturday, May 3, 2025
at LISA West High School
Our 14th Annual Language and Culture Festival will take place on Saturday, May 3 at 10:30 am at the LISA West High School. We will have guests perform a Russian song, a Korean song, and several African American poems, songs, and dances. These performances offer a window into the diverse culture of our students and their families. Country storyboards created by our elementary students will also be on display for our audience to view and enjoy. The storyboards tell the history and important facts about different countries along with the many cultures within these countries.
Keynote Speaker: Freddie Scott, DESE Operations Manager
(Arkansas River, Crowley’s Ridge, Great Rivers, Northeast, and Southeast Co-Ops, Open Enrollment Charter Schools, and Division of Youth Services)
Thank you for your continued support of our students, our staff, and their families.
Language is the Road Map of a Culture.
It tells you where its people come from and where they are going.
