Academic learning at home resources have been created to provide opportunities for students to engage in meaningful learning experience during the school closure. Below you will find a list of activities that your child can complete both independently and with your support.
Tell me what you have been doing with animals/agriculture! Email me, tell me all about it, because I miss you so much!
Do something for yourself! In this crazy time, we all need a little “alone time”. Take an hour, read a book, sing to yourself, dance crazy in your room, draw! send me what you decide to do! Part of being able to help others is taking care of ourselves!
Tell me how you think this lockdown has affected your pets/livestock! Email me! I know that my dogs are ready for me to go back to work because I'm interrupting their nap times! What about yours?
Find out what each member of your family's favorite animal is! Email me, tell me who you asked, and what their answer was, I can't wait to read these! Mine is clearly a dog, well two, actually :)
Please spend 60 minutes per week on things from this list! Email: cpack@lipanindians.net
Work on something around the place and send me pictures for documentation each week. Just show me that you are actively doing something that is constructive and productive. It can be anything involving repairing, rebuilding, constructing, destructing, working around the house or yard, working with animals, crops or plants, or wildlife.
You can either upload pictures to my google classroom or email them.
Document any activity that you are doing at home to help your family during the quarantine period. You may submit your record of your activity on Google Classroom. You may use either of the following methods of documenting your activity:
A picture of your activity
Use the Learning Log to record what you have done
A few examples of activities are:
Mowing the yard
Cleaning the house
Taking out the trash
Any building project
Caring for livestock or other animals
Baking a cake or cooking a meal
Any other activity that is helpful to your family
