Academic learning at home resources have been created to provide opportunities for students to engage in meaningful learning experience during the school closure. Below you will find a list of activities that your child can complete both independently and with your support.
Clean out your fridge. Tell me what different kinds of animal products are/were in your refrigerator. Next, wipe it out, clean out the drawers. Help your parents out. Please ask before throwing food away. :) Email me a picture of your freshly cleaned fridge.
Spend 30 minutes outside. Pull weeds, mow the yard, help plant something, do something productive outside, preferably that has to do with animals. Email me and tell me what you did. Pictures are a plus.
Write two paragraphs about your favorite animal. Please write two paragraphs about your favorite animal. Tell me their origin, if they are endangered or not and if you can legally own them in our state. Email me what you find out.
Write two paragraphs telling me how your favorite food is processed. You can do it. I believe in you. Email it to me.
What have you done over the break that has to do with animals and agriculture? Email me twice per week and tell me what you are doing that has to do with either.
Work on something around the place and send me pictures for documentation each week. Just show me that you are actively doing something that is constructive and productive. It can be anything involving repairing, rebuilding, constructing, destructing, working around the house or yard, working with animals, crops or plants, or wildlife.
You can either upload pictures to my google classroom or email them.
