This is an intensive statistics course designed to challenge enrichment learners. It provides career pathways into the fields of Statistics, Engineering, Science, Health Science, Social Science, and the Arts. It complies with University Entrance subject requirements.

A/S 3.9 Investigate bivariate measurement data (Internal, 4 credits)
A/S 3.10 Use statistical methods to make a formal inference (Internal, 4 credits)
A/S 3.13 Apply probability concepts in solving problems (External, 4 credits)

Entry Recommendations:
The HoLA of Mathematics and Statistics will be overseeing which ākonga gain entry into this academic course. Ākonga entering this course should have passed the Numeracy CAA and have gained a minimum of 10 NCEA Level 2 credits from L2MATH or L2STAT.
