LEVEL 3 HEALTH EDUCATION – L3HEA

Learners will build on their previous knowledge and start to relate their learning to New Zealand and the rest of the world. This course offers learners a chance to research issues that affect themselves, others and society. The health topics that we cover range from ethical issues such as euthanasia, health issues in Aotearoa and globally, as well as the exploration of differing health philosophies. These practices range from Western Scientific Medicine, Complementary Alternative Medicine and Traditional Medicine. After completing Level 3 Health Education learners will have an in-depth understanding of health and well-being in New Zealand and starting to get ready for a career in the Health sector.
