Level 3 Geography is an academic course aimed at students looking to attend university. This course is a great choice for students wanting to learn about the world, understand global issues, sustainability and research. There will be a focus on the natural and cultural environment in Vietnam with the Vietnam Tour occurring at the end of term 1. It will appeal to problem-solvers, and people who can work in teams. Geography is a subject which is a university pathway for diverse careers such as engineering,policy, government, education and environmental science. Students will look at the global pattern of plastic pollution, with a particular focus on Vietnam. There will be an overnight field trip to Hanmer/Kaikoura to complete data collection for their research assessment.
