LEVEL 3 ENGLISH LITERATURE – L3ENL

Qualification: NCEA Level 3 and a University Entrance approved subject.

This course is for confident English learners who enjoy literature and want to develop their critical literacy, close-viewing/reading and writing skills in a variety of contexts. 

Course Components:

Critical analysis of a variety of written, visual and oral texts

Develop fluency in writing a variety of text types

Communicate ideas visually and orally

Research skills

Critical evaluation of inter textual connections

Prepare for exams

This course will give you the opportunity to achieve University Entrance Literacy Credits in 2024

Entry Recommendations:                    At least 10 Level 2 English credits (AS), including two writing based standards.
