Level 3 Drama is a UE subject course which requires a high level of skill in both written and performance work, building on the learner’s practical and theoretical knowledge. At Level 3 learners take greater responsibility in the planning, organisation and shaping of material through a process of negotiation, communication, analysis and evaluation. There is an emphasis on performance techniques, and working together to produce a major class production both on and off the stage. This course also focuses on the major production. Learners in the major production will have the opportunity to study: production area, special effects make-up, dance, major production, techniques, prop making, directing and writing for the stage.

Performance technologies -stage make-up, lighting ,sound, costuming and stage set design.
