LEVEL 3 BIOLOGY – L3BIO
Learning Area: Science
Qualification: NCEA Level 3
Level 3 Biology explores the interactions and behaviours of organisms in response to both their external and internal environments. This involves studying how humans maintain a stable internal environment and developing an informed response to a socio-scientific issue.. There is also a field trip to Orana Park to study the behaviour of animals and look at how plants respond to their environment. Level 3 Biology opens up many career opportunities in Health Science, Sports Science, Veterinary Science, Environmental Science and Sustainability, Nursing and Aged Care or Food Science. It complies with University Entrance subject requirements.
