This course develops on from level 1, providing learners with the opportunity to explore their own art making practice specialising in digital and non-digital photography practices.

Learners who are wanting to work in any creative fields, engineering, product design, science based fields can also benefit from working in the Arts.

Learners will get to work collaboratively and individually, with the opportunity to exhibit their work. EOTC will help support learners develop their ideas either through site specific photo shoots, or looking at other photographers work.

Photography supports Business and entrepreneurial pathways, as developing visual messaging is key for marketing aspects.

Learners will develop problem solving, project-management and analytical thinking through folio production.


Course Components:

Making work based on photographic conventions

Understanding how a camera works , and using non digital processes.

Developing your own ideas within your photography

Extending into an external folio.

Literacy: 4

Entry Recommendations: Level 1 would be advantageous but not essential.
