This course is suitable for learners at Level 2 with an interest in History, leadership and politics. It will appeal to learners with competent English skills who enjoy research and want to develop their ability to craft an argument. The content of the course can be shaped to reflect learner interest. Popular subjects over previous years have included the Dawn Raids, Vietnam War and Conspiracies alongside local Waitaha/Canterbury history. The overall theme for the course is grief, however this can be modified based on student interest.
