LEVEL 2 DESIGN & VISUAL COMMUNICATION – L2DVC

This course is designed to build on the skills learnt in year 11 Design and Visual Communication. For learners who are interested in product and industrial design, graphic design or architecture. Made up of both Unit and Achievement Standards, learners will produce a portfolio of work based on one learner driven project. Students will learn to research, produce freehand sketches, render design for print and use 3D modeling software. 

Course Components:

Create a design using characteristics of a movement or design era. Use your sketching and modeling to investigate technical aspects, human factors, variations and alternatives to finally render a complete portfolio of your design according to the design brief.
