This course covers concepts from across the Science strands to open a wide pathway for students. It also provides a sound foundation of Scientific literacy, numeracy and understanding for students to apply to everyday life and the local environment.This course leads into any Level 2 Science Course (Biology, Chemistry, Earth and Space or Physics). 

Course Components:

A.S Physics, Earth and Space Science 1.2 - Demonstrate understanding of a physical phenomenon through investigation (5 credits)

A.S Chemistry and Biology 1.2 - Demonstrate understanding of chemical reactions in context (6 credits) 

A.S Physics, Earth and Space Science 1.1 - Demonstrate understanding of human-induced change within the Earth system (5 credits)

A.S Chemistry and Biology 1.3 - Demonstrate understanding of genetic variation in relation to an identified characteristic (5 credits)
