LEVEL 1 ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNING – L1ELL

Qualification: NCEA Level 1

This course is aimed at learners for whom English is not their first language and who are still developing their English language skills. ELL covers a variety of different topics and provides a range of Unit Standards at Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3.

Level 1

US 31001 (Read and understand simple texts for everyday purposes)

US 30994 (Read and understand simple texts in everyday contexts)

US 27998 (Complete simple forms with personal information)

US 27996 (Write basic texts on very familiar topics) 

A range of unit standards from each level will be provided.
