A solar eclipse will occur in Maine on On April 8, 2024. When the moon moves between the sun and the earth, the moon causes a shadow to fall on the earth as the moon blocks the light from the sun. Parts of Maine will have the sun blocked all the way, which is a total solar eclipse. The towns in MSAD 75 will experience a partial solar eclipse, where the sun will be blocked between 96% and 97%.
