Lindsy is a millennial and a mother with her Bachelors in Economics. Since 2000, she has worked with at risk kids. After graduating high school, she gave back by becoming a school board member. Some of her committees include student recruitment, staff hiring, and rebuilding the school’s Charter. In the education system, Lindsy has been an administrator, teacher and tutor. Lindsy also worked on a family farm where she advocated for food security and the slow food movement. Her passion for economic justice lead her to join with local groups to fight hunger and end homelessness.

In 2008, she was a Canvass Director in Reno/ Sparks with a progressive action group. Since relocating to beautiful Washoe County, Lindsy is a SuperMom with Moms Clean Air Force, a provisional member of Junior League of Reno, an active member in the WashoeDems. She works with Actionn and RISE on a permanent community for homeless in Washoe County. She fundraises for Safe Embrace, Domestic Violence Resource Center and Lexie’s closet.

Lindsy has the passion, grit, vision & integrity to serve Washoe County Commission District 5. As an active member of our community, Lindsy understands the difficulties Washoe families face. Among her qualifications, she brings active listening skills and open communication to our government. She's bringing our community to government.
