Respondus Lockdown Browser

Step 1: Install Respondus Lockdown Browser on your device using the link below.

2. Open Respondus LockDown Browser from your Desktop. If prompted,

choose “Canvas” in the dropdown menu.

3. Log into the MyLWC Portal and navigate to Canvas.

4. Go into your course, navigate to the exam, and start your exam.

5. Agree to the Terms of Use and conduct the webcam and microphone checks.

6. Complete student ID and environment checks.

7. Begin the Exam

8. Upon completion, submit the exam and exit LockDown Browser.

Please Note:

Once a test has been started with Respondus LockDown Browser, you cannot exit until the test has been submitted for grading.
If the exam says "password required," then you are not running Respondus Lockdown Browser.
